This policy describes what Fernlog collects when you use the app to track and water your plants.
If you create an account: your email, and the plant records you create (names, photos you choose to add, watering schedule, and location tags like "kitchen" or "south window"). If you use the app without an account, this data stays on your device only.
Photos you attach to a plant record are stored to sync across your devices if you're signed in. We don't scan or use your photos for any purpose beyond displaying them back to you in the app.
Watering reminders are generated and delivered locally on your device wherever possible; if you're signed in across multiple devices, a minimal sync signal is used to avoid duplicate reminders.
Account data is retained as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes plant records, photos, and schedules within 30 days.
